A team of six students, including four EEMCS students, have built a Selfie Robot, during their minor Robotics. It was an assignment for TOPDelft and BETA Balie. Their robot, MIKA, now travels to several festivals and even made an appearance, earlier this month, at the Kunsthal in Rotterdam during the annual Museum Night. Continue

On Saturday 11 March our faculty hosted the finals of the Bever Contest. This is an annual computer science contest for pupils from 'groep 7 & 8' in primary school and 'klas 1 - 6' in secondary school. The contest has been developed to let pupils get acquainted with computer science.Continue

Online programming course provides new insights into learning behaviour of children

It is better if parents do not get too involved when their children are learning to programme. This is one of the results of the research into the TU Delft online course (MOOC) which teaches programming to children.
