The EEMCS Research Relations and Valorisation team

In a rapidly changing (inter-)national research funding landscape, funding opportunities are shrinking and becoming increasingly fragmented. Success rates are falling, and maintaining funding levels requires an increasing effort of faculty members.

The EEMCS Research Relations and Valorisation team (ERV) aims at fact-based alignment of the EEMCS strategic positioning and objectives with external agenda’s, partners and programs. ERV supports the faculty and its scientists in achieving their objectives in the field of research funding and valorisation.

ERV also focusses on innovation and entrepreneurship, for students and faculty, for example by exploiting IP in collaboration with companies, or facilitating science-based entrepreneurship.

The faculty specific activities of ERV are aligned with those of the Valorisation Centre of TU Delft, which supports the entire university. ERV is headed by prof. dr. ir. R.L. Lagendijk, one of the five EEMCS Department chairs.
